“Gsteiger” Terms and Conditions
Arrival/Departure:
On the day of arrival, the rooms will be available from 2 p.m.
On the day of departure, rooms must be vacated by 11 a.m.
If you arrive later than 8 p.m., please let us know.
Our hotel is non-smoking and only has double rooms. Single use is therefore possible in selected rooms. Free use of our “Gsteiger” SPA area is exclusive to business travelers due to a legal change. Prices are exclusive of the local tourist tax per person/night.
For a short stay (1 night) we charge a surcharge of € 25.00 per room/night.
Please inform us of any special requirements such as allergies and/or food intolerances before your arrival.
Services not used cannot be offset or paid out.
In order to issue the Königscard and for registrations of several people, especially groups, we ask you to send us a list of participants with names, dates of birth and addresses at least 5 days before arrival.
Our Gsteiger Spa is available to our guests daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Please note that the entire wellness area can only be used by guests aged 15 and over.
There are sufficient parking spaces available. Please ensure you maintain a sufficient safety distance. Covered parking in the carport: € 8.00/night/day. A charging station for electric cars is available for a fee (€ 0.80 / kWh).
You can cancel your room reservation free of charge up to 14 days before your arrival date. For conferences and group trips, you can cancel free of charge up to 3 weeks before; for 10 rooms or more, you can cancel free of charge up to 4 weeks before.
After that, we will charge 80% of the total accommodation minus the half-board you have booked. Two weeks before your arrival, we will charge your credit card account with 50% of the total price. Please let us know your credit card number. You can then pay the remaining amount on site. If you do not have a credit card, please transfer the corresponding amount to our account as stated in your reservation confirmation.
We recommend our guests to take out travel insurance! Protect yourself financially with travel insurance to avoid cancellation fees.
Travel insurance – Lechbruck am See
The same applies in case of late arrival or early departure.
Room cancellations are only valid in writing. You will receive an invoice from us, which you should forward to your travel insurance.
Late check out and/or early check in : rooms only upon request and availability (the room is available until 6 p.m. on the day of departure and from 8 a.m. on the day of arrival) € 40.00 per room.
Dogs are welcome, but only in rooms with a balcony. Please understand, however, that the stay does not include the breakfast and relaxation area. We charge €20 per day for your “darling”, without meals.
We accept EC cards and Visa and MasterCard credit cards. Check availability abroad with your bank.

Individual rooms can be booked for private events depending on availability. The maximum number is 70 guests. There is no room rental charge for events with the number of people listed below:
- Restaurant: max. 70 people (with dance floor max. 45 places)
- Winter garden: max. 35 people
- Winter garden “Lechblick”: max. 35 people
- Stube: max. 40 people; Gsteig: max. 30 people
A room can be booked for sole use by fewer guests. We charge for each missing seat
a room rental fee of € 20.00.
For the festively laid table according to specifications we charge a flat fee of € 2.00 per person.
Reservations for 10 or more people at Christmas, New Year’s Eve (applies to each person and the menu price must be paid in advance), Easter holidays and general events such as brunch: For 10 or more people, we charge a deposit of €25.00 per person. You will receive an invoice 4 weeks before the date and we will send you a voucher for the total amount after receipt of payment.
Service staff/event duration
Our service staff are included in your package until 1:00 a.m. The event can last up to 1:00 a.m.
Cleaning/Waste disposal
There are no costs for cleaning, except in the case of serious contamination, in which case you will be charged for the additional cleaning effort. The costs for this cannot be estimated in advance. If we are to dispose of waste (cardboard, paper, etc.) for you, we will charge you a flat rate of € 15.00.
Parking
Sufficient parking spaces are available free of charge.
Entertainment and music program
The event organizer must report the music to GEMA himself. After midnight, the volume must be regulated so that other hotel guests are not disturbed.
Guarantee of the number of participants
The organizer acknowledges that for events where food is to be served, the hotel requires the exact number of people attending and the choice of food no later than 5 working days before the event. This number is considered a guaranteed minimum and will be invoiced to the organizer by the hotel in any case. Any orders for food, drinks, tobacco products, etc. above this number will be charged additionally.
If the guaranteed number of people is exceeded by more than 10% (applies from a number of 30 people), we ask for your understanding that the desired menu may not be served.
Should there be any changes in the number of people, we would be grateful if you would notify us immediately.
The number of guests reported 48 hours before the event is decisive for the minimum invoice.
Cancellation of events
If you cancel up to 4 weeks before the event date, no fee will be charged. If you cancel up to 10 days before the scheduled date, you will be charged 50% of the total booked turnover, up to 3 days 75% of the total booked turnover and within 3 days 100% of the total booked turnover will be charged.
Beverage billing
Drinks will be billed according to actual consumption. The client accepts the pricing by the hotel.
Prices
Our prices include all taxes, duties and service. Valid until revoked.
Price & vintage adjustments
Hotel Auf der Gsteig GmbH reserves the right to make price and vintage changes.
Food and drinks brought by the organizer
Should you decide to organize wine, champagne or spirits yourself, we reserve the right to charge you as follows:

Bringing food requires express written permission from the hotel. The hotel may charge a flat rate for this.
For cakes and wedding cakes that you bring yourself or have delivered by a company, we reserve the right to charge €2.00 per person for service and cover charge. We also expect products that are of impeccable quality and hygienic.
Attention: We need an ingredients list with information on allergens!
Show
Newspaper advertisements and other advertising referring to events at the Hotel Auf der Gsteig GmbH always require our prior written consent. If published without consent, the Hotel Auf der Gsteig GmbH may cancel the event.
Technical work
If your event requires technical work from external companies, the costs incurred will be passed on to the event organizer at cost price. The external company may only carry out work or make changes to our property with the hotel’s permission.
Valuables/Wardrobe
The venue assumes no liability for valuables such as machines, pictures, cash, exhibits, etc. brought to the event by participants.
Hotel Auf der Gsteig GmbH accepts no responsibility for theft or damage to objects, clothing and materials brought with you. Any agreements to the contrary must always be made in writing.
decoration
The organizer is obliged to inform the house of the intended installation of decorative material or other objects and to obtain permission.
The event rooms must not be damaged. Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel and all fire regulations must be observed.
All costs associated with production and dismantling shall be borne by the organizer.
Liability of the organizer
Guests or representatives of the event organizer are liable for any damage caused and must compensate our hotel in full. If necessary, the hotel will require the event organizer to take out suitable insurance. The event organizer is liable for repair and renovation costs as well as for any loss of business as a result of the event.
Fireworks require the approval of the municipality, the local police and the property owner. According to § 19 of the VVB, flying lanterns are generally prohibited in Bavaria.
The release of balloons or similar must be reported to the DFS (German air traffic control) and is free of charge. The form can be found at www.dfs.de
Termination by the hotel
Without prejudice to its right to compensation, the hotel is entitled to terminate the contractual relationship at any time and without giving reasons if the event endangers the smooth running of the business, the reputation or security of the hotel is endangered or in the event of force majeure. Under no circumstances is the organizer entitled to assert claims for damages against the hotel. Furthermore, both contracting parties can withdraw from the contract up to 3 months before the agreed date at the latest without giving reasons and without paying cancellation fees.
Invoice receipt
The invoice will be issued on the day of the event. Payment can be made in cash, by debit card, Visa or Mastercard. Payment by bank transfer is due within 3 days of receipt without deductions.
Use of the house name or house logo
The use of the company name or logo for media, printed matter, etc. is only permitted with the prior written consent of our company. If we have not been informed, we are free to cancel the event free of charge.
Complaints/claims
Since we want to constantly improve, we ask for your valued feedback if you have justified criticism. Of course, we are happy to receive your praise and your friendly recommendation.
