The fairways - 18 holes and off we go
Fly with us over our 18-hole golf course and get a first-hand impression of each hole: We’ll take you on a drone flight over the Gsteig, with its well-maintained golf course of medium difficulty (par 71) and a length of 5,600 meters – and a magnificent Alpine panorama.

Our training area offers beginners and experienced golfers numerous training opportunities on a practice area of around 7 hectares – even in unfavourable golfing weather:
- 3-hole short course
- 2 tee huts with pro area
- Grass tees and mat tee lines
- large panoramic putting green
- 2 chipping greens with grass and sand bunkers
Driving Range
Our driving range features grass and mat tees, as well as covered teeing areas and a pro area. Golfers of all skill levels can improve their technique under the expert guidance of our golf instructor. You’ll be amazed at the results!
3-hole short course
The short course is perfect if you’re a beginner who wants to get a taste of golf without a club membership. However, you will need a golf handicap to play on the short course. As an established player, you can improve your short game on our 3-hole short course.
Putting greens & chipping area
Directly adjacent to the driving range is a spacious, undulating putting green where you can putt on a variety of breaks. The two pitching greens are complemented by a practice bunker, perfect for practicing your short shots.
Indoor golf course
With our Full Swing golf simulator, you’ll enjoy the purest golfing experience: Play realistic rounds on world-renowned courses or measure your personal swing parameters for targeted training. Our 150-square-meter indoor facility also features a putting green and an additional teeing area. Afterwards, you can analyze your last training session in a relaxed atmosphere in our cozy lounge area.

Get your golf license with us! We award the DGV (German Golf Association) course proficiency certificate (Platzreife) after passing the exam. Our trained golf instructor will prepare you for the exam individually or as part of a small group and will also administer the exam. To obtain the course proficiency certificate, you must learn basic golf techniques and strokes . You should also be familiar with the rules and etiquette of golf and the proper way to play on the course .

Golf taster course
Experience golf at its best. Gsteig in the Allgäu region offers the perfect conditions to ignite your passion for golf and prepare you for the game on the course. Here’s what you can expect from our taster course:
- Individual training (individually or in small groups)

- Equipment with all necessary clubs (suitable for every type of player) for the duration of the course

The Golf Club
The Golf Club Auf der Gsteig Lechbruck am See eV was founded on October 22, 1999, and is a member of the German Golf Association and the Bavarian State Golf Association. Our home course is the 18-hole golf course on the Gsteig, which has been in operation since May 2000.
Please note: Membership in our golf club (with your own DGV club card) is only possible in conjunction with a usage authorization for the Auf der Gsteig GmbH golf course.

Activities of our club and the board
Legally independent, the golf club is primarily responsible for sporting matters, organizing tournaments for our various teams, hosting the club championship, and promoting youth development. We place particular emphasis on youth development.

Become a member: Conditions
Our terms and conditions for membership at Gsteig are fair and transparent: There are no joining fees or other additional costs (shares, etc.) for members. Annual membership fees are billed annually (even for multi-year memberships). New members (with a full membership for the coming year) can play freely starting in October with no remaining year’s fee. Our Golf Team Leader, Hansi Frank, will be happy to advise you on your individual membership options at Gsteig.

Greenkeeping
In 2017, Sommerfeld, a company that maintains more than 60 golf courses in Central Europe, took over our greenkeeping. Head Greenkeeper Rainer Welz, along with Karl Burger, Fabian Erhardt, Fabian Hipp, Szabolcs Herman, and Supervisor Maik Kette, are responsible for the demanding course maintenance of our golf course.
Thanks to our dedicated team, our greenkeeping was awarded the “Golden Spindle” for “Golf Course of the Year” by Sommerfeld in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2023.So that it stays nice and green
Our standard cutting heights during peak season:- Greens: 3.5 mm
- Green collar: 10 mm
- Front greens: 35 mm
- Reductions: 10 mm
- Fairways: 16 mm
- Rough: 52 mm

Dogs are allowed on the site on a leash. Please dispose of their waste in the designated dog toilets.
Winter play operation
Our 18-hole course is protected during the winter and recovers from mid-December to the end of January. The short course is playable on summer greens on frost-free days. In the event of frost or snow, the golf course is closed, and the grass areas should generally be avoided. In the event of light frost or hoarfrost, the course is closed until it thaws. Please refer to the current play schedule.
